REED MEER WELCOMES
THE FOOTBALL SEASON
We oldies remember playing football on the street.  Youngsters today are no different.  There's nothing quite like kicking a ball about with your mates.  These days streets are busier and cars travel faster so it's that bit more risky.
Reed Meer Residents Association have secured £750 of funding through North East Lincolnshire's Sports Development Active Communities. This will  provide the opportunity for 8-18year olds to play safely and develop their skills.  They have 2 trainers for 3 months and are hopefully going to have their own coaches trained soon.  Volunteers are needed to help.
They meet on Wednesday evenings on the Resource Centre field.  Please contact Ken Staples on Immingham  519295 for more information about joining.
