Editorial So much has happened since our last issue. We have had the Immingham Fayre and Jubilee Picnic. An amazing weekend with really nice weather despite forecasts of rain. Shooting Fish have worked hard with local young people and treated us to a great performance of "Our Day Out". If you did not get to see them you missed a real treat. The Supermarket Saga is also far from over. First we don't have a big store, then we are told we are getting one, now we don't know again. It is about time the powers that be finished playing fast and loose with the needs of the people of Immingham and gave us what we deserve - First Class services and reasonable choice! If towns like Barton and Brigg, which are a fraction of the size of Immingham, can support many supermarkets there is plenty of room here for one more. We don't want to travel 20 miles for decent supplies, why should we? Watch the website and the local press for news of the Public Enquiry. Plans for he Health Centre on the site of the old Fire Station are coming on. I still feel that ordinary people have been kept in the dark for too long, but in this issue there is some interesting news. Again we should be hearing more and seeing physical progress in the weeks to come. Have you taken photographs around Immingham this year? Why not enter the photographic competition ?
